Kyle and Nicole

Kyle Findlay was born on his family’s farm in Harlan, Iowa; though he lived all over the country growing up. Kyle graduated from Kirkwood College in Cedar Rapids with an Associate’s degree in Graphic Design, but he quickly learned that sitting behind a desk was not for him. He worked in the construction industry after graduating and started Findlay Flooring, LLC in 2010. He is thrilled to get back to his rural roots.

Nicole Findlay was born and raised in Carroll, Iowa. She has an undergraduate degree in Health Administration from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids and Masters of Public Administration from Drake University. She has worked for VA Central Iowa Health Care System since her graduation in 2005, currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer.

Kyle and Nicole are the parents of two lively daughters, Claire (12) and Erica (9). Their free time is spent camping, kayaking, coaching soccer, volunteering for PTO functions and spending time with their very large extended family.

The buildings at VERITAS have existed as part of the  Grimes-area community for several years, and the center has been previously operated under several different names.  In November of 2013 a committed and highly energetic group of individuals took ownership as VERITAS Equestrian Center, LLC.    We have an expanded vision for this important and long-standing part of the community.   In addition to environmental improvements and general maintenance and safety related catch-up activities, the VERITAS team continues to work to enhance the conditions of the property and the experience of our customers.   We live immediately adjacent to the VERITAS property and all four of us are part of the community served by the VERITAS facilities.    We are part of the local community and are invested in providing committed, personalized, high quality service to those who choose VERITAS as their barn home.
